Job summary

Rutland Regional Medical Center is seeking a patient transport assistant to safely move radiology patients to and from the Diagnostic Imaging department and support technologists and clerical staff. The role includes assisting with patient preparation for exams and providing basic supportive care during prep processes.

The position requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and BLS certification, with the possibility of obtaining the certification within the first month of hire.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• BLS Certification through American Heart Association is required or may be obtained within 1 month of hire.
• Strong clerical and communication abilities are essential.
• Ability to assist with preparing patients for exams and provide basic supportive care during exam prep.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport radiology patients to and from the Diagnostic Imaging department.

Minimum Education

Required Licenses/Certifications

Pay Range: $16.50 - $24.04
