Job description

Part of the Distribution Centre Management team that provides excellent service to our stores, ensuring customers have great product availability and standards by leading a team of colleagues who feel safe and love working at Tesco, while operating an efficient and compliant operation.

1. Analyzing data to identify root causes and implementing corrective actions.
2. Delivering high operational standards and effective ways of working across all areas of my shift.
3. Utilizing Transport systems to optimize routines and efficiencies.
4. Implementing the Transport improvement plan and developing team capabilities where needed.
5. Identifying opportunities to enhance Transport operation efficiency and engaging my team to achieve these improvements.
6. Ensuring delivery of Transport plans, KPIs, and resource management to meet KPIs and stay within the distribution centre's financial budget.
7. Championing change, sharing ideas, and delivering results.
8. Participating actively in the distribution centre community plan, generating ideas, and encouraging team involvement.
9. Leading resource planning activities to ensure appropriate staffing for effective store service.
10. Supporting colleagues through effective leadership and using our people routines.
11. Executing operational routines with customer needs at the forefront.
12. Collaborating with the Distribution Centre Management team, balancing shared objectives, and acting as a positive role model.
13. Analyzing data to identify root causes and implementing corrective measures.
14. Maintaining high standards across all operational areas of the Delivery Service function.
15. Managing and coaching my team to ensure productivity and target achievement.
16. Adhering to our Business Code of Conduct and Data Protection Law, acting with integrity and diligence.
