A leading logistics company in Wakefield is seeking an experienced Transport Team Manager to oversee the transport function. You will manage a team to ensure efficiency and safety in operations. Ideal candidates will have supervisory experience in transport and knowledge of compliance regulations. We’re looking for a full-time, permanent Transport Team Manager to join us at our Heineken site in Wakefield. You’ll be responsible for ensuring the safe, efficient and effective running of our transport function whilst providing leadership and management to the teams to ensure objectives and targets are achieved.
You’ll be working, any 5 from 7, rotating over 06:00 till 14:00, 14:00 till 22:00 and 22:00 till 06:00, some flexibility as some weekend cover is required in peak periods, there is drink to be drunk and this is logistics after all!

We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £36,000.00 per annum, (inclusive of shift allowance) and 33 days annual leave (inclusive of bank holidays).
