We are currently recruiting for a team leader level role in our transport team with responsibility for developing area transport strategies and scheme development. In this role you would need to be able to turn our Local Transport Plan into well evidenced and crafted action plans at a local level and then turn those plans into defined schemes that make a really positive difference to the lives of Hampshire residents, business and visitors.

You’ll apply your technical knowledge across a range of transport planning functions, contributing to business cases, funding bids, and strategic initiatives.
You’ll work collaboratively with stakeholders, using your communication and leadership skills to influence outcomes and build strong relationships. Your ability to stay organised and focused—even in challenging situations—will help you manage competing priorities effectively.
You’ll also play a vital role in shaping services by applying your understanding of design guidance, planning policies, and corporate strategies, while maintaining political awareness and sensitivity.
