Job summary

Culina Group is seeking a Transport Support Operator to join the Contract division on a full-time permanent basis. You will debrief drivers daily and provide general administration support to the Transport team, ensuring accurate timesheets, PODs, and despatch paperwork.

The role operates on a 4 on/4 off shift from 6am to 6pm, with a salary of £28,181 per year and locations in Telford or Warrington, UK.

Qualifications

• Experience in transport administration or driver debriefing.
• Proficient in handling timesheets and PODs.
• Familiar with Transport Management System (TMS) and MS Excel.

As part of our, Contract division, we have an exciting opportunity to join the team as aTransport Support Operator on a full time permanent basis!

This position is responsible for debriefing drivers on a daily basis alongside providing general administration support to the Transport team.

Salary:£28,181 per annum.

Working hours:4 on 4 off, 6am-6pm.

Key Duties of aTransport Support Operator:

• Correctly debriefing drivers.
• Checking all timesheets for correct completion and ensuring all PODs are returned completed correctly.
• Scanning and storing PODs using thedocument management system.
• Preparing drivers’ wallets and issuing delivery notes in drop sequence plus any other relevant delivery information.
• Printing all despatch notes and replenishing despatch paper as required.
• Answering the telephone and assisting with any enquiries.
• Ensuring all estimated time of arrivals (ETAs) are communicated to Customer Services.
• Consistently updating all spreadsheets including, but not limited to; change-overs, run summaries and trailer check sheets.
• Departing loads using Transport Management System (TMS).
• Ensuring all uplifts are despatched in correct loads.
