Are you a natural leader with a passion for logistics and operational excellence? We're looking for a Nightshift Supervisor to oversee our milk operations during the night, ensuring smooth, efficient, and compliant delivery performance that exceeds customer expectations.

What You'll Be Doing:
  • Lead and supervise the nightshift driving team, ensuring clear communication and smooth shift transitions.
  • Oversee start times, load accuracy, and shift coverage to meet delivery and collection schedules.
  • Adapt plans in real-time to meet customer demands while maintaining profitability.
  • Monitor and report on KPIs and customer-required data daily.
  • Ensure service levels are met in collaboration with other departments.
  • Optimize resources while ensuring compliance with WTD and driver hours legislation.
  • Maintain legal compliance for vehicle roadworthiness (defects, services, MOTs).
  • Conduct return-to-work meetings, investigations, briefings, and disciplinary actions.
  • Log and report all accidents, incidents, and near misses promptly.
  • Foster a positive team culture, address driver concerns, and communicate operational updates.
  • Manage driver holidays and ensure adequate shift coverage.
