Job Title: Transport Supervisor

Location: Magor, Caldicot

Employment Type: Permanent

Working Hours: 4 on 4 off Nights 1800-0600

Salary: £34,000pa

MDE Group UK LTD is recruiting for a Transport Supervisor to join our established team based in the Magor area.

This is a night role, but training will initially take place during the day.

Job Description

1. Support and deliver the transport operational plan
2. Planning and organising vehicles and drivers
3. Driver pre- and de-briefs
4. Communicating customer queries and issues with deliveries
5. Handling driver queries
6. Assisting with vehicle defects and compliance
7. Ensuring EU legislation requirements are met
8. Performing general admin duties

Requirements

1. Previous transport planning experience is advantageous
2. Knowledge of driver hours
3. Good systems experience
4. Excellent attention to detail
5. Ability to work under pressure
6. Good customer service skills
