What you’ll do on a typical day:

1. Deal with all driver-related issues, ensuring compliance with transport legislation.
2. Maintain responsibility for compliance with Company and statutory requirements regarding Operator Licence, H&S, service quality, drivers’ hours, and tacho regulations, including the working time directive.
3. Brief and debrief drivers, including reporting and investigating accidents and incidents.
4. Support transport managers, planners, and administrative staff to ensure the smooth running of the transport operation.

What you need to succeed at GXO:

• Excellent transport knowledge, including route planning, drivers’ hours rules, and vehicle/transport legislation/H&S legislation.
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong people management, coaching, and influencing skills.
• International CPC holder preferred.
