Job Description:

Our Transport/Service Coordinator will be responsible for the safe dispatch of all vehicles daily to meet or exceed customer service expectations. Managing our team of Night Drivers, the successful candidate will ensure the continued delivery of a timely and accurate service to all customers, involving effective use of resources and manpower.

Location: Larkfield

Working Night Shift: Mon – Fri (45 hrs) 22:00 – 07:00

Responsibilities:

• Prepare weekly and daily KPI reports.
• Manage drivers daily, resolve issues they may have.
• Coordinate with customer service regarding Salesforce inquiries.
• Manage driver performance through 121’s, reviews, and development planning.
• Handle recruitment duties for replacement drivers.
• Manage driver holidays/absences and arrange route coverage.
• Organise vehicle servicing, maintenance, and breakdowns.
• Download data from vehicle Tacho units and cameras.
• Arrange permits for onsite contractors.
• Complete accident and incident reports and submit incident response presentations within set timeframes.
• Ensure regular driver assessments and work observations are completed.

We are keen to speak with candidates with experience in people management within a similar Supervisor / Transport / Service environment.

Requirements:

• Ability to work independently.
• Effective time management and multitasking skills.
• Proficiency in IT, especially Microsoft Excel and email.
• Self-motivated, reliable, and enthusiastic.
• Team player and motivator, able to work under pressure and seek challenges.
• CPC qualification is advantageous.
• LGV & ADR licenses are advantageous.
