We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-orientated
Transport Router Coordinator to join our dedicated team at
WCF, Fuels Northwest. This is a permanent, full-time position offering a fantastic opportunity to be part of a dynamic and supportive environment within a growing organisation.
The Role: What to Expect
As a Transport Router Coordinator, you will play a vital role in our operations team, responsible for the efficient planning and routing of daily tanker deliveries. These deliveries will include domestic heating oil, agricultural fuel, and commercial fuel across a variety of customer locations. Your responsibilities will also include scheduling workloads for our team of professional drivers, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery while maintaining exceptional service standards.
You will be at the heart of ensuring our customers receive prompt and reliable fuel deliveries, making a real impact on our business and the communities we serve.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and route daily deliveries for a fleet of tankers across multiple fuel types and customer sectors.
- Allocate driver workloads efficiently while considering vehicle capacities, customer requirements, and delivery windows.
- Maintain strong communication with drivers, customers, and internal teams.
- Respond to customer enquiries professionally and promptly, providing outstanding service at every interaction.
- Monitor delivery progress and adjust routing plans as needed to meet operational demands.
- Utilise routing software and internal systems to support planning and record-keeping.

Previous experience in a transport planning or routing role is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided.
