Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)
Shift patterns: Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm
Location: Coventry - CV23 0XF

DHL, an award-winning leading supply chain business is seeking a Planning & Optimisation Manager to play a vital role coordinating our daily warehouse and distribution requirements.

WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?

As part of your normal duties, whilst maintaining excellent health and safety practices, you will:

1. Manage the long range planning and forecasting of volume, fleet and resource for the R1 network alongside the cross border planning team.
2. Lead the EU Planning team with the operational delivery of service KPIs and Financial results.
3. Lead the planning and forecasting for the full network including communication with the customer.
4. Deliver an integrated network approach with significant cost reduction.
5. Manage carrier engagement and regular reviews of performance for the Subcontractor base.

2. Transport & Planning experience is ESSENTIAL
