RPS, a Tetra Tech company, is seeking a Transport Planning Consultant to join our Transport Planning Team, part of our UK Planning Consultancy, based in London or Abingdon.

Our Transport Planning Team provides expertise to private sector clients on property and infrastructure development, including energy generation, residential, commercial, sporting, leisure, health, and educational land uses.

What you will be doing:

• Work with a team of knowledgeable consultants to develop your skills and advance your career.
• Assist across various projects and technical areas.
• Provide consultancy advice to clients, contribute to project success, and develop key client relationships.
• Support and mentor Graduate and Assistant staff.

Who we are looking for:

• Experience with transport modelling software (including Junctions10 and LINSIG), TRICS, TEMPRO, accessibility assessment, and transport policy and guidance documents.
• Experience in drafting technical transport reports such as Transport Assessments, Travel Plans, and chapters of Environmental Statements.
• Developing technical investigation skills related to transport assessments.
• Methodical, solution-oriented, and communicative approach to build strong relationships.

Qualifications:

A relevant degree and experience in professional services or consultancy.
