A leading engineering consultancy in London is seeking a full-time Transport Planner or Senior Transport Planner. The role involves preparing transport reports, client liaison, and conducting site visits. Ideal candidates will have experience with Transport Assessments and knowledge of highway design principles. We are seeking a full‑time Transport Planner or Senior Transport Planner for our Transport South Team based in London.
We offer a challenging and rewarding career working for a leading consultancy with a strong presence in London and the south of England. You will join a growing and established team delivering a wide variety of interesting projects for clients in the private and public sectors.
Our clients typically include housing and commercial developers, local authorities, highway authorities, architects, town‑planners and other professionals. Your work will include development‑related transport planning and will include preparation of Transport Assessments, Travel Plans, transport chapters for environmental impact assessments, and other development‑related transport reports. You will also prepare transport studies for our public sector clients, undertake site visits and attend meetings as required. The role will also involve some client liaison, such as attending meetings. Full support will be provided on a day‑to‑day basis by an experienced transport planning professional.
We are looking for a keen, progressive and versatile individual with a genuine interest in transport consultancy who is proactive in keeping up to date with current practices, guidelines etc. in our field. Ideally your experience will include some or all of the following.
