Job description

Our client is a leading provider of overnight delivery services operating in the UK and Ireland. Their strategically located freight hubs facilitate express road freight and next-day delivery across these markets.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a UK/Ireland Transport Planner (PM Late Shift) within the expanding Irish department. Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the daily management of the transport desk, including fleet cost and return management, load planning, booking processing, third-party logistics, customer service, and general administrative duties.

Hours of work: Monday to Friday, 13:00 – 22:00

The ideal candidate will have experience in UK and/or European road freight, preferably with knowledge of the Irish marketplace. Excellent communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) are essential. The role offers a competitive salary and opportunities for career progression within a market-leading business.

Salary: £25,000 to £28,000 (dependent on experience)

Additional benefits include quarterly bonuses (paid after 6 months probation) and 20 days holiday.
