Qualifications

Nights Transport Planner - Manchester - Up to £32,000 per annum!

Are you an experienced transport planner in general haulage looking for an exciting opportunity within a market leading company?

Job type: Permanent

Hours: 4 on/4 off nights

Salary: Up to £32,000 per annum

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and support a fleet of drivers on a daily basis
• Booking deliveries
• Monitoring driver times, progress, providing ETAs to ensure good time keeping
• Route planning
• Ensure compliance with all transport legislation and company policies
• Communicate effectively with customers regarding delays, changes or updates
  
  

Requirements

• Previous experience as a transport planner
• Legal compliance knowledge - Tachographs, infringements, WTDs
• Strong communication skills
• Excellent UK geographical knowledge
