Kinaxia Logistics Limited in Rugby is seeking a Transport Planner to plan and execute collection and delivery schedules using cost-efficient methods, aligning with business objectives and customer service levels. You will work Monday to Friday, with onsite requirements and full support from the operations team.

The role requires strong IT/system literacy, ability to coordinate with drivers, workshops and customers, and a proactive approach to continuous improvement while maintaining safety

Qualifications

• Experience in transport planning and knowledge of related regulations.
• Ability to analyse logistics problems and optimise routes.
• Familiarity with transport operation systems and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute collection and delivery schedules.
• Utilise IT systems, TMS and customer portals for efficient deployment.
• Coordinate with Workshop to ensure vehicle/trailer availability.
• Communicate plans to transport team and stakeholders.
• Manage staffing levels, including agency staff, to meet the daily plan.
• Provide accurate rates/quotes and process customer bookings.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvements in operations.
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping and safety compliance.
