Job summary

Proximo is seeking a Transport Planner to join our team in Ryton, Coventry. The role focuses on coordinating deliveries and collections of replacement hire vehicles, ensuring smooth daily operations across the branch network.

You will liaise with branches to secure suitable vehicles, verify driver hours and expenses, and maintain accurate client records while upholding Proximo’s high service standards.

Qualifications

• Experience as transport planner or logistics administrator.

Responsibilities

• Assist with arranging the delivery of replacement hire vehicles to customers.
• Liaising with the Proximo branch network to secure suitable vehicles for our customers.
• Arranging collections of clients hire vehicles.
• Reporting of issues regarding collections of vehicles to Head Office.
• Checking and inputting driver hours, agency driver hours, expenses, and fuel costs daily.
• Updating client files with relevant information using the bespoke company system.
• Overseeing accurate recording of any vehicle damage.
