Responsibilities

• Involvement in client meetings, project workshops, stakeholder engagement, and design team liaison (both internal and external).
• Contributing to and authoring planning application deliverables and transport strategies.
• Contributing to various development projects across sectors and clients.
• Managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• The Manchester team will support your technical development and career progression, including internal development programs and professional qualifications (CEng, TPP).

YOUR TEAM

The Manchester Development team works on a range of projects, including leisure/sports schemes (Eden Project Morecambe/Dundee, Aston Villa), town center regeneration (Hind Street in Wirral, Red Bank Victoria North in Manchester), logistics, energy, retail, and public sector transport strategies.

Qualifications

• Proven experience supporting planning applications and transport strategies at an Assistant/Transport Planner level.
• Attention to detail and pride in work quality.
• Ability to quickly grasp new concepts.
• Ability to work independently on technical tasks.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Experience leading discussions with clients and stakeholders.
• Knowledge sharing and mentoring abilities.
• Experience preparing traffic data for Transport Assessments and related environmental assessments.
• Experience with junction capacity modelling software (Junctions 10, LinSig).
• Experience in producing Transport Strategies, Assessments, Statements, Travel Plans, and Environmental Impact Assessments.
• Experience in junction design (priority, roundabout, signals).
