Job description

Owen Mumford is looking to hire an ambitious Transport Planner! Could this be your next role?

The Transport Planner will be responsible for planning and scheduling outbound transport, and acting as the key contact for all 3PL transport providers and customs clearance instructions.

This position is for maternity cover, offered full-time on a fixed-term contract (12 months).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan, book, and communicate all customer and outbound transport.
  • Plan, book, and communicate all supplier and inbound transport, including cross trade.
  • Manage the UK Sales 3rd Party Logistics contract and resolve related queries/issues.
  • Manage the UK Ecommerce order fulfillment process.
  • Monitor dispatches and proactively communicate ETAs.
  • Monitor and report on vehicle utilisation.
  • Construct and communicate transport KPIs.
  • Manage outbound logistics, ensuring correct Incoterms and dispatch times.
  • Support Owen Mumford's deferment account management and provide monthly export reports.
