Major Recruitment is recruiting Transport Planners for a client based in Middlesbrough. This vacancy offers an immediate start and is temporary to permanent for the right candidate. Candidates will work in a busy transport department alongside existing team members to deliver outstanding service to customers.

Responsibilities include:

• Overseeing all aspects of transport planning to ensure efficient and effective scheduling of transportation activities.
• Planning trucks to meet delivery and collection times.
• Coordinating inbound and outbound traffic.
• Dealing with customer queries.
• Managing driver queries.
• Managing vehicle allocation and breakdowns.

This role requires strong leadership, analytical skills, and industry knowledge to optimize transportation operations and enhance customer satisfaction.

Hours of work and pay:

• Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week.
• £12.50 per hour.
