Transport Planner

Location: Erith

Start Date: August 2025

Contract: Temp to 12-Month Contract (for the right candidate)

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 4:00pm

Pay Rate: £14.50 per hour

About the Role

Premier Recruitment Group is proud to partner with a leading production company based in Erith, seeking an experienced Transport Planner to join their Transport Department.

This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a fast-paced team and support the delivery of a cost-effective and efficient daily transport operation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and produce daily transport schedules cost-effectively
  • Build relationships with sub-contractor partners
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date transport records
  • Conduct driver debriefs and follow up on CAPAs, including root-cause analysis
  • Support the export delivery planning process
  • Provide administrative support to internal teams and external customers
  • Deliver excellent customer service across all touchpoints
  • Commit to ongoing personal and professional development
  • Carry out additional tasks as directed by management
Person Specification
  • Previous experience in a Transport Planning role
  • Strong geographical knowledge of the UK
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • A proactive and independent worker who can also operate well in a team
  • Customer service experience is desirable
