Ready for a change? Looking for a role that you can develop into? Ready to join a growing site? We are seeking a Transport Planner to be based at our Leicester site on our contract with Kingspan, covering Monday to Friday.

We offer a salary of up to £35,000 per annum, 25 days holiday (plus bank holidays), with options to buy additional days. Benefits include high street discounts, a cycle-to-work scheme, a workplace pension, and other perks.

Typical daily responsibilities:

• Planning all orders/shipments for the Kingspan contract within SLA timeframes
• Planning XPO core fleet resources across all Kingspan sites using TMS and optimization software
• Allocating work to subcontractors via TMS, ensuring correct cost allocation and confirmation
• Entering subcontractor costs into WTS
• Representing the Planning Team in daily operations calls
• Updating the Kingspan CS team on 'at risk' or 'failed' loads promptly and accurately
• Acting as liaison between Kingspan CS and XPO Transport Team
• Planning and updating collection schedules
• Proactively managing urgent orders and informing Kingspan of delivery dates
• Communicating any schedule changes or failed orders promptly, with reasons, and re-planning as needed
• Allocating and utilizing the core fleet effectively
• Escalating non-conformance issues to the Planning Manager or Supervisor

Qualifications for success at XPO:

• Experience working in a fast-paced environment
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Experience in transport, understanding of compliance and driver hours is advantageous
