About the Role

We're seeking a highly organised and proactive Transport Planner to join our growing logistics team at our Leeds hub. Reporting to the Planning Supervisor, you'll be part of a close-knit team of three, playing a crucial role in delivering efficient, cost-effective, and timely transport solutions across the UK.

As part of a centralised planning initiative, you'll be at the forefront of planning nationwide multi-drop deliveries using both own fleet and third-party logistics providers. This role is key to ensuring operational excellence across our production and distribution network.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan efficient and accurate delivery routes using Routyn Transport Planning System
  • Maintain key planning parameters such as drive times, unload rates, and vehicle configurations
  • Liaise with production sites to support capacity and delivery scheduling
  • Meet planning cut-offs to support warehouse operations
  • Assist the dispatch team with real-time issue resolution
  • Prepare and compile transport performance reports

You're someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and brings a methodical approach to planning. You're a natural problem-solver, highly organised, and committed to delivering excellent service and results. You enjoy collaboration but can also work independently. You're flexible, open to occasional travel, and keen to understand the bigger picture of how logistics integrates with the wider business.

Key Skills
