  • Liaise with approved sub-contractors for transport operations.
  • Plan and allocate consignments, ensuring data accuracy in the TMS.
  • Handle client queries efficiently and provide strong customer service.

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Transport Clerk to join our long established and growing Freight Logistics Company based at our Hemel Hempstead office

Working on our Traffic desk you will be an integral part of our UK & European sub-contracting operation.

Key Responsibilities/Duties
  • Liaising with our Company approved sub-contractors
  • Planning and allocating consignments, ensuring all data on our TMS is created and processed accurately
  • Providing excellent communications with customers, sub-contractors and colleagues
  • Dealing with client queries efficiently
  • General transport administration
Key Skills and Experience
  • The successful applicant will have experience within a Haulage environment either on a Traffic desk or as a HGV driver.
  • Good geographical knowledge, computer literate, excellent communication skills and have some knowledge of HGV's.
  • Attention to detail is also paramount.
