Overview

Bennett and Game are currently partnering with a leading transport company who, due to continued growth, are actively seeking a skilled Transport Planner to join their team at their Goole location.

Responsibilities

• Working with customers, suppliers, drivers, and in-house customer service desks to ensure the smooth running of operations.
• Prioritising workload, route planning, and conducting driver briefings and debriefings.
• Demonstrating strong organisational skills in planning schedules, journeys, and loads.
• Maintaining the in-house computerised system and possessing the skills to use Excel spreadsheets.
• Working in line with VOSA and compliance standards.
• Monitoring compliance and working with drivers and the compliance team to eliminate infringements.

Requirements

• Knowledge and experience of O\'Licence requirements and compliance.
• Knowledge of Tanker or ADR Transport - highly desirable.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong IT and TMS system knowledge.
• Excellent organisation and time management skills - essential.

Salary & Benefits

• Salary: £33k - £40k.
• Monday - Friday (08:00 - 17:00).
• 22 days\' holiday plus bank holidays.
