Transport Planner

Location: Coleshill

Salary: 25,000 - 26,000 (DOE)

Are you a Transport Planner/Administrator with a background in General Haulage Operations? Are you looking to advance your career for an established and highly regarded Logistics Company? This role could be excellent for you!

Shifts: Monday - Friday (9am - 5pm) - Flexibility Available

Key Responsibilities:

• To schedule and plan day-to-day customer deliveries.

• Liaise with new and existing customers.
• Meet transport legislation commitment.
• Monitor fleet maintenance requirements and liaise with drivers.

• Daily input of KPI's, delivery and collection issues, preparing paperwork.

Requirements:

• Previous Transport Planning Experience.
• Previous experience working for a UK based Freight Forwarder/Road Transport Company or Shipping Line.
• Previous experience with General Haulage
• Knowledge of the WTD, Drivers Hours, Tachograph and Transport legislation would be beneficial.
• Ability to thrive in a busy work environment.
