Ready for a change? Looking for a role you can develop into? Want to join a growing site? We are looking for someone like you. We’re currently recruiting for a Transport Planner based at our Leicester site, working on our contract with Kingspan, covering Monday to Friday.

Pay, benefits, and more:

We offer a salary of up to £35,000 per annum, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, with the option to buy additional days. Benefits include high street discounts, a cycle-to-work scheme, workplace pension, and other perks.

What you’ll do on a typical day:

1. Plan all orders and shipments for the Kingspan contract within SLA timeframes.
2. Plan XPO core fleet resources across all Kingspan sites using TMS and optimization software.
3. Allocate work to subcontractors via TMS, ensuring correct cost allocation and confirmation from haulier partners.
4. Enter all subcontractor costs into WTS.
5. Represent the Planning Team in daily operations calls.
6. Update the Kingspan Customer Service team with accurate information on 'at risk' or failed loads.
7. Act as a liaison between Kingspan CS and the XPO Transport Team.
8. Plan and update collections on the planning sheet.
9. Proactively plan urgent orders and communicate delivery dates to Kingspan.
10. Notify Kingspan promptly of any schedule changes or failed orders, including reasons, and re-plan as needed.
11. Allocate all core fleet effectively.
12. Escalate any non-conformance issues to the Planning Manager/Supervisor.

What you need to succeed at XPO:

• Experience working in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience in transport and understanding of compliance and driver hours is beneficial.
