About the Role

We are seeking an experienced European Transport Planner to join our long-established logistics team. You’ll play a key role in planning and coordinating the effective operation of our own fleet of vehicles, covering both UK domestic and international routes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and manage efficient transport routes across the UK and Europe
  • Maximise fleet utilisation while ensuring cost-effectiveness and compliance
  • Liaise with customers, drivers, and colleagues to ensure smooth operations
  • Monitor schedules to ensure timely deliveries and resolve issues as they arise
  • Support colleagues in a busy transport office environment
  • Apply a basic understanding of customs procedures where required
What We’re Looking For
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in transport planning (essential)
  • Background in logistics or haulage operations
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Flexible, positive approach to achieving team goals
  • Knowledge of customs processes is desirable
Hours
  • Monday to Friday
  • Every other Saturday morning
Requirements
  • Ability to reliably commute or relocate to Dover (CT16) before starting work
