We are currently recruiting for an individual with experience of transport planning, based at our offices in Treforest. This role is being offered as an office based role, 5 days per week.

Key Responsibilities

1. You’ll be the first point of contact for all sales and distribution queries and be responsible for the skilful and efficient delivery of products from our Quarries and Plants across the region.
2. Taking inbound calls & emails from customers and placing orders
3. Communicating effectively with the Logistics, Commercial & Production teams
4. Proactively tracking orders through to completion
5. Dealing with enquiries and complaints
6. Maintaining a database of customer information
7. Working as part of a team to achieve Key Performance Indicator targets
8. Maintaining high levels of professionalism in a fast paced and demanding environment
9. Full Compliance with Competition Act 1998

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise

1. Knowledge of the Construction & Transport industries (not essential)
2. Experience in transport planning and can demonstrate knowledge of road haulage
3. A hard-working approach with a can do attitude
4. Ability to manage competing deadlines & anticipate problems and potential solutions
5. Effective communication & exceptional customer service skills
6. Excellent attention to detail & good computer skills
