Job description

We currently have an opportunity for a Transport Planner to join our busy Transport Planning team, based in Cambridge, on a permanent basis. The role would suit a transport planner with a broad understanding of all elements of the profession, ideally with a focus on transport planning for development projects and public sector schemes.

Location

Our Cambridge office is located in the vibrant city center, near the University of Cambridge, offering excellent access to local attractions and direct connections to London.

Projects and Responsibilities
  1. Work on a variety of projects including strategic land development, infrastructure, and public sector schemes.
  2. Support technical output such as Transport Assessments, Travel Plans, and transport studies.
  3. Engage with clients, design teams, authorities, and the public.
  4. Mentor and develop junior team members.
Candidate Profile
  • Degree in transportation, geography, engineering, or related field.
  • Experience with planning systems, Transport Assessments, Travel Planning, and relevant software.
  • Strong numerical skills and experience in project budget and quality management.
  • Working towards professional qualification, e.g., Chartered Transport Planning Professional.
