We currently have an opportunity for a Transport Planner to join our busy Transport Planning team, based in Cambridge, on a permanent basis. This role is suitable for a transport planner with a broad understanding of all elements of the profession, ideally with experience in transport planning for development projects and public sector schemes.
Our Cambridge office is centrally located in the city, close to the University of Cambridge, with excellent access to the River Cam, parks, and public transport links to London. The team has been involved in notable projects such as North West Cambridge Development (Eddington), Addenbrooke’s Hospital Biomedical Campus, Waterbeach Barracks and Airfield, Tendring and Colchester Borders Garden Community, and Alconbury Weald.
You will work on a range of projects from strategic land development to infrastructure delivery, supporting the technical output of transportation projects, including Transport Assessments, Travel Plans, and transport studies. The role involves liaising with clients, design teams, local authorities, and the public, as well as mentoring junior team members.
