The role emphasizes dynamic scheduling, real-time problem solving, and strong communication with drivers and clients. Night and day shifts are available in a fast-paced setting, with additional weekend cover as needed.

Transport Operator (Days & Nights Available)

Our client is seeking two highly organised and adaptable Transport Operators to join a high-performing logistics team. In this fast-paced role, you will manage day-to-day HGV driver scheduling to ensure the seamless delivery of shipping containers, keeping client satisfaction and company objectives at the forefront.

What You Will Do

• Dynamic Scheduling: Manage daily routes and schedules for a fleet of HGV drivers.
• Real-Time Problem Solving: React quickly to changing situations, adapting transit plans on the fly to guarantee timely container deliveries.
• Driver & Client Support: Act as a core point of contact, delivering exceptional service and guidance to both external clients and drivers on the road.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely within a supportive, motivated team environment to hit performance targets.

Shift Patterns & Compensation

• Night salary (Rotational, Monday to Friday)
• Night Shift
• 4:00 PM - 2:00 AM
• 6:00 PM - 4:00 AM
• 9:00 PM - 7:00 AM
• Additional payment if Sunday shift worked.
• Day Shift (Rotational, Monday to Friday)
• 6:00 AM - 4:00 PM
• 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM
• Includes 1 in 4 Saturdays;
• Occasional Sundays required for holiday/sickness cover.
