Our client is a well-established haulage company in Felixstowe, seeking an experienced transport operator to join their team.
Will be assisting in running day-to-day operations associated with container transport and LCL transport.
- Ensuring deliveries/collections are completed on a daily basis
- Inputting bookings
- Dealing with incoming calls/emails quickly and efficiently
- Managing sub-contractors
- Ensuring accurate maintenance of specific operational software
- Customer account management
- Strong UK geographical knowledge
- Min 2 years previous experience within a container transport environment
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to prioritise and organise
- Excellent knowledge and experience of Microsoft Office - Word, Excel & Outlook
- Driven and motivated to succeed
