Job summary

Olleco is seeking an Assistant Transport Operations Manager based at our Midlands West depot in Cannock to help us deliver on our planet-friendly mission.

You will provide support and training to drivers, ensure daily vehicle checks, and uphold health and safety standards across the depot, with a typical 06:00–14:30 schedule and a salary of £30,000 per year plus pension and benefits.

Qualifications

• IOSH Managing Safely certification or willingness to acquire it
• Excellent administrative skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Experience in transport or logistics
• High level of attention to detail

Responsibilities

• Provide support, training and assistance to Olleco drivers
• Contribute to the smooth running of the Midlands West depot
• Focus on health & safety, safety procedures, compliance, maintenance, training, administration and rounds
• Complete all paperwork and IT systems for your work and that of the drivers
