Gap Personnel Limited is recruiting in the Rossendale area for an Assistant Transport Manager/Transport Supervisor. You will work with a small team of drivers and assist the Transport Manager.

Key duties include fleet operations, driver management, compliance with driver hours and tachograph rules, vehicle maintenance, health and safety, customer service, reporting and budgeting. A class 2 licence may be required.

Qualificações

• Experience in fleet operations and route planning.
• Strong leadership of small driver teams.
• Knowledge of driving hours, tachograph, and WTD.

Responsabilidades

• Plan and coordinate daily vehicle schedules and routes.
• Supervise drivers and monitor performance.
• Ensure compliance with driver hours and safety regulations.
• Maintain transport records and prepare KPI reports.
• Assist with budget and cost control.
• Cover absences and holiday shifts when needed.
