Job summary

Bestway Group is seeking a Transport Operations Manager to oversee day-to-day operations at our National Distribution Centres. You will lead transport and warehousing activities, ensure DVSA compliance, and act as GM in the GM's absence.

Qualifications

• Experience in a warehouse/wholesale environment.
• Knowledge of health, safety and retail compliance legislation.
• Excellent planning skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations to meet KPIs and service levels.
• Ensure transport operations meet DVSA regulations.
• Act as GM when required.
• Drive team productivity and ensure accurate shift reporting.
• Monitor staff productivity and shift performance.
• Ensure adherence to WMS procedures.
• Ensure staffing levels are achieved and kept within budget.
• Conduct stock investigations and maintain hygiene and housekeeping standards.
