Job description

VANRATH are delighted to be assisting a major client with the Recruitment of an Experienced Transport Operations Manager to join an experienced and dynamic team based in Cookstown.

Salary - £45,500 - £60,000

Hours - Monday - Thursday 7:30am - 5pm & Friday 7:30am - 4pm

Responsibilities:

• Oversee workshop and stores operations, ensuring smooth day-to-day running.
• Coordinate modular build scheduling, managing projects from order to installation and handover.
• Manage onboarding and training of new staff, including probation processes.
• Maintain high housekeeping and safety standards across all operations.

Essential Criteria:

• A minimum of 5 years' experience in production management or scheduling.
• Strong decision-making, leadership, and organisational skills.
• Ability to problem-solve, manage time effectively, and drive continuous improvement.
• A full, clean driver's licence.
• Preference may be given to candidates with joinery or construction experience.
