Surecall Recruitment is seeking a Transport First Line Manager for a leading supermarket logistics hub in Greenford. The role oversees transport and distribution, reports to the Transport Operations Manager, and ensures deliveries are safe, legal and on time.

You will lead a large team (150+), manage dispatch schedules, driver allocations and compliance with driver hours and vehicle safety. The role requires rotating shifts, weekends, and offers a clear path to permanent employment with a

Competenze

• At least 2 years of supervisory or team leader experience.
• Background in transport, multi-drop delivery, FMCG or high-volume logistics.
• Strong people-management and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of driver hours, vehicle safety and transport compliance.
• IT skills, including Transport Management Systems (TMS) and spreadsheets.
• Flexibility to work rotating shifts and weekends.

• Transport operations - Manage dispatch schedules, driver allocations and delivery windows.
• Safety and compliance - Ensure driver hours, tachographs, vehicle checks and transport legislation are followed.
