Job summary

Booker Group is seeking a Transport Operations Clerk to support the Transport department and warehouse administration. Your day-to-day tasks will vary, requiring you to be flexible and proactive in handling duties such as driver paperwork, route departures, tachograph reports, and driver debriefs.

The role supports a dynamic Transport Operations Team with a focus on smooth daily operations and responsive problem-solving across shifts.

• Experience with HGV drivers or similar transport role preferred.
• Demonstrates flexibility to cover daily changing duties.

• Give drivers paperwork and support with route departures.

• Support with any challenges arising in the Transport Operations Team.

Transport Operations Clerks are responsible for the administration of the Transport department including the operational activity and support of the warehouse administration as required. Your duties will vary depending on what’s required on the day so being flexible is an important skill to have.

Main Responsibilities

Whether it’s giving drivers their paperwork, supporting with route departures, gathering Tachograph reports, debriefing drivers or generally being supportive with any challenges that arise, you’ll be an essential part of the Transport Operations Team.

Shift Pattern: Tuesday - Saturday, 1000-1800hrs

You will need

Experience with HGV drivers or within a similar transport role would be ideal however, we will consider transferable skills.
