Booker is seeking a Transport Operations Clerk to administer the Transport department and provide essential support to warehouse administration. You’ll handle driver paperwork, assist with route departures and Tachograph reports, and debrief drivers as needed.

Flexibility is important, with duties varying day to day as part of the Transport Operations Team, and a Tuesday–Saturday, 10:00–18:00 shift pattern is in place.

Formación

• Experience with HGV drivers or similar transport role would be ideal, transferable skills considered.

About the roleTransport Operations Clerks are responsible for the administration of the Transport department including the operational activity and support of the warehouse administration as required. Your duties will vary depending on what’s required on the day so being flexible is an important skill to have.

Main ResponsibilitiesWhether it’s giving drivers their paperwork, supporting with route departures, gathering Tachograph reports, debriefing drivers or generally being supportive with any challenges that arise, you’ll be an essential part of the Transport Operations Team.

Shift Pattern: Tuesday - Saturday, 1000-1800hrs

You will needExperience with HGV drivers or within a similar transport role would be ideal however, we will consider transferable skills.
