Job summary

Booker Group plc is seeking a Transport Operations Clerk to support day-to-day administration in the Transport Department and assist with warehouse tasks as needed. You’ll handle transport documentation, support route departures, and maintain records while liaising with drivers and management to keep operations flowing smoothly.

The role requires flexibility in a fast-paced environment; prior experience with HGV drivers or transport operations is advantageous, with full training provided.

Qualifications

• Experience with transport, logistics or fleet operations is a plus.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail requested.
• Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Process transport documentation accurately and promptly.
• Support route departures and driver debriefs.
• Produce Tachograph reports and maintain records.
• Provide administrative and operational support to the Transport team.
• Assist with warehouse administration when required.
• Liaise with drivers, colleagues and management to keep operations running smoothly.
