Passenger Transport Officer - Temporary Role (3 Months Initially) Based in Glenfield, Leicester 37 hours per week Monday to Friday GBP14.37 an hour

Our client is seeking an experienced Passenger Transport Officer to support the efficient and legally compliant delivery of passenger transport services across Leicestershire. This is a temporary role for an initial period of 3 months, offering a great opportunity to contribute to a vital public service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and procure passenger transport services using both manual and ICT systems.
  • Support efficiency reviews, including season ticket purchases and fare-paying passenger transport.
  • Liaise with internal fleet management and external contractors to ensure compliance with current standards.
  • Provide guidance on the use and maintenance of specialist passenger transport equipment.
  • Ensure all contracted vehicles are appropriately licensed and insured.
  • Maintain accurate records and transport databases
