Bennett and Game are currently working with one of the UK's most respected privately owned International Courier service companies who are actively seeking a proven Transport Manager / Night Operations Manager to join their Hemel Hempstead location.

Our client offers a range of international courier and logistics solutions as well as numerous general haulage, pallet distribution and supply chain services to a wide variety of different businesses.

Transport Manager - Nights Position Overview

• Oversee all night operations taking place
• Improve the efficiency of the operations and overall management
• Assist with driving (when required)
• Ensure compliance is being followed at all times
• Manage relationships with sub-contractors
• Prepare annual budgets
• Perform HR duties such as recruiting, scheduling and disciplinaries

Transport Manager - Nights Position Requirements

• Class 2 or 1 HGV License - Essential
• Previous experience working in the courier logistics sector (Desirable)
• Experience in a senior management position
• Willing to be hands on & aid in other areas of the depot when needed

Transport Manager - Nights Position Remuneration

• Company pension scheme
• 5 in 2 night shift (weekend work will be expected)
• 28 days holiday (including bank holidays)
