Location: Leeds
Salary: 45,000.00

Summary:
An experienced Transport Manager with a strong knowledge of fleet management, compliance and logistics operations as well as proven staff management and customer service skills is required to oversee and optimise a 3PL frozen and chilled distribution operation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a team of c70 drivers
• Conduct regular appraisals and reviews
• Ensure full compliance with operating licenses and DVSA regulations
• Optimise planned delivery routes for efficiency and cost effectiveness
• Track and report daily and weekly KPIs
• Provide insights and recommendations of process improvements
• Respond to and resolve any customer delivery issues

Experience:

• CPC qualification required
• Up to date knowledge and competence in standard license regulations
• Excellent leadership and organisational skills
• Proven experience of managing and developing teams
• Good customer service skills
• Previous experience from a multi temperature 3PL distribution environment preferred.
