Bennett & Game are currently partnering with a growing haulage company serving the construction, plant, and civil engineering sectors. Due to continued growth, they are now seeking a proven Transport Manager to join their Feltham branch.

We are looking for a Transport Manager to oversee fleet operations, ensure O-licence compliance, manage drivers, and maintain safe, efficient transport. You will lead a small team, work closely with operations, and ensure the business meets all legal and safety standards.

Overview

Responsibilities

• Oversee fleet operations to ensure safe, efficient transport for construction, plant, and civil engineering projects.
• Maintain O-licence compliance, including DVSA rules, drivers\' hours, and vehicle inspections.
• Lead and manage a small transport team; work closely with operations to support ongoing site activity.
• Ensure the business meets all legal and safety standards, and liaise with local authorities as required.
• Plan, schedule, and control costs to optimise transport performance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years\' experience managing transport/fleet in construction, plant, or waste environments.
• Experience maintaining an O-licence and ensuring compliance with DVSA rules, drivers\' hours, and vehicle inspections.
• Strong planning, scheduling, and cost-control skills.
• Leadership experience managing drivers or transport staff.
• Experience working with local government and councils to ensure H&S and compliance standards are met.
• Management CPC - Essential
• FORS Practitioner - Highly desirable
• HGV Licence - Highly desirable
• Proven experience in a Construction, Waste, or Plant transport environment
• Strong geographical knowledge of West London

Salary & Benefits

• £50,000 - £60,000 per annum (DOE)
