Job summary

Dx is looking for a CPC-qualified Fleet Compliance Manager to oversee depot fleet compliance, service planning and regulatory adherence. You will also manage onboarding of PAYE drivers and sub-contractors while driving efficiency and continuous improvement.

The role requires ensuring inspections, tachograph calibration checks, licence checks and reporting are performed on time and logged in line with policy. Excellent progression opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Must have CPC Manager qualification and specialist knowledge of driver and vehicle legislation.
• Experience in transport compliance and regulatory standards is essential.
• Strong reporting and data management skills to track compliance and performance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee fleet compliance for the depot and manage service planning according to policy.
• Ensure timely inspections, tachograph calibration checks and RFL per policy.
• Carry out driver licence checks for PAYE, agency and sub-contractor drivers.
• Manage driver licence mandates and ensure monthly checks are reported into Engineering.
• Ensure pre-use and end-of-use checks are performed and recorded as required.
• Conduct sub-contractor reviews and produce management information to drive efficiency.

Role summary

This role proactively manages the compliance of operator licence and the inspection, repair and maintenance of the vehicle fleet. In addition, you will manage the on-boarding of PAYE drivers and sub-contractors whilst playing an active role in building efficiency and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Responsible for managing the fleet compliance for the depot.
• Managing vehicle service planning in line with company policy
• Ensure all inspections, checks, tachograph calibration checks and RFL are carried out on time and in line with company policy
• Carryout driver licence checks for PAYE/Agency and sub-contractor drivers in line with company policy.
• Management of driver licence mandates and confirming monthly checks have been carried out and reported into Engineering.
• Ensuring all pre-use and end of use checks are being carried out by all drivers and the information is recorded in line with company policy.
• Complete sub-contractor reviews
• Produce relevant reporting and management information to increase efficiency, business improvement and customer satisfaction
