CCG (Scotland) is seeking a Transport Manager to lead fleet management at our Cambuslang HQ. You will ensure safe, compliant and cost-effective transport operations, with responsibility for vehicle condition checks, servicing, MOTs and driver records.

The role requires strong planning, financial oversight and knowledge of transport legislation, with a full driving licence as essential. Permanent, full-time position based in Glasgow area.

• Maintain accurate vehicle and driver records.
• Carry out driving licence checks.
• Monitor fuel consumption, driver behaviour, vehicle usage and mileage.

SALARY: Competitive

HOURS: Full time, Monday to Thursday 8.00am to 4.30pm, Friday 8.00am to 3.30pm. Core flexible hours available

LOCATION: 9 Cambuslang Road, Cambuslang Investment Park, Glasgow, G32 8NB

STATUS: Permanent

THE ROLE

As Transport Manager, you will be responsible for developing and leading fleet management activities across the CCG Group, ensuring our vehicles, drivers and transport operations remain safe, compliant and cost-effective at all times.

• Carry out random vehicle condition checks (interior and exterior).
• Record damage, cleanliness and roadworthiness.
• Build relationships with suppliers and service providers.
• Manage servicing, repairs, tyres and MOT schedules.
• Oversee breakdowns and Vehicle Off Road (VOR) management.
• Keep vehicle downtime to a minimum.
• Ensure vehicles remain fully compliant at all times.
• Maintain accurate vehicle and driver records.
• Carry out driving licence checks.
• Manage operating costs.
• Investigate vehicle accidents and arrange repairs.
• Manage small plant.
• Monitor trackers for fuel consumption, driver behaviour, vehicle usage and mileage.
