GBP36,940 plus bonus

Monday - Friday 8am to 5pm

Role Overview

This role involves working closely with existing transport subcontracts and bringing new subcontractors into the business. It is pivotal in enabling the company to continue growing. The position also requires maintaining relationships with existing customers and subcontractors, as well as onboarding new ones.

Key Responsibilities

1. Ensure loads are correctly exported/imported, understanding the necessary codes and paperwork.
2. Maintain relationships with existing haulier partners and customers, regularly reviewing performance.
3. Bring new customers and hauliers/subcontractors into the business.
4. Resource and allocate loads daily to achieve the best possible margin.
5. Ensure deliveries are scheduled on time and meet customer expectations.
6. Monitor delivery performance and inform customers of any delays.
7. Work towards targets aligned with operational KPIs.
8. Keep all information accurate and up-to-date within the TMS system.

Candidate Requirements

• Essential: Background in transport operations.
• Desirable: Strong relationships with existing subcontractors.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of export/import procedures and customs documentation.

Additional Skills

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to develop and build relationships with customers.
• Understanding of current market rates.
• Good knowledge of customs procedures and documentation.
