£35,949.05 plus an additional 20% payment for hours worked between 10pm and 6am.

About the Role

DHL, an award-winning leading supply chain business, is seeking a Transport First Line Manager to play a vital role in coordinating our daily logistics requirements.

What Does the Role Entail?

• Oversee and support the performance of drivers to ensure they meet the established Key Performance Indicators.
• Ensure all transport operations comply with safety regulations and legal requirements, while maintaining operational efficiency.
• Make necessary adjustments to daily transport plans if issues arise to ensure smooth operations.
• Address and resolve issues related to transport operations or coordination with the warehouse to minimize delays and maintain productivity.
• Lead daily briefings and debriefings with drivers to communicate updates, safety information, and expectations.
• Manage driver performance to identify discrepancies in accordance with the Daily Transport Plan.
• Ensure drivers and the fleet comply with all relevant legal, safety, and operational standards.

• Knowledge of supply chain practices.

• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to supervise, organize, and train team members.
• A recognized qualification in Supply Chain Management or Logistics is a plus.
