Pertemps Sheffield is hiring a Transport First Line Manager in Ferrybridge. The role oversees daily transport operations, supports drivers, and ensures deliveries meet safety and customer standards. Shifts are rotating 6am-2pm and 2pm-10pm on a Monday–Friday schedule.

This temp-to-perm position offers an immediate start and requires leadership, logistics experience, and a proactive approach to problem solving to drive performance and service quality in a busy operation.

Responsibilities

This Transport First Line Manager position in Ferrybridge offers £17.10 hourly on a full-time, temporary-to-permanent basis with immediate starts. About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and proactive Transport First Line Manager (FLM) to join a busy transport operation in Ferrybridge. You will play a key role in overseeing daily transport operations, supporting drivers and ensuring deliveries are completed safely, efficiently and in line with customer expectations. Working on a rotating day shift pattern, you will help maintain high standards of safety, compliance and service delivery while driving team performance and continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities

• Work closely with agency providers, subcontractors and other operational teams.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, control costs and enhance service delivery.
